2020V1 – AutoUpdate bug fix
This is an especially important update because it resolves an issue with showing "Update/License server not available" during registration/activation/updating HockeyAssistant app. If you are a HockeyAssistant user have earlier version than V3.20.11005.1900 installed then you will not be able to use AutoUpdate function. In this case please manually download and install the latest version. Please make a backup from your Documents/HockeyAssistan3 folder before installing the latest version.
Q: The "Update/License server not available" message appears with all the HockeyAssistant versions which are earlier than earlier V3.20.11005.1900 when user tries to update, register or activate the application. Why?
A: After we installed the SSL certificate on our website in 2019 the registration/activation/updating Web Services stopped working because the URL of the services were changed from “ http ://www.louisoft.com/WebServices/example_service.asmx” to “ https ://www.louisoft.com/WebServices/example_service.asmx” in the website but not in the HockeyAssistant application. We apologize for this bug and thank you for your understanding.
This update also fixes several other (minor) bugs you reported. Thank you for the excellent bug reports!
